Yup, cut the plugs off the esc and holes in the chassis xmas daySo you cut holes in the battery trays ?
Does anyone what size the stock XRT fans are ? Thanks.
35mm. Same size as most Hobbywing and Spektrum ESCs use.Does anyone what size the stock XRT fans are ? Thanks.
These are cheaper. They work pretty good. I've used them before. That's a price for two of them :These will fit

I'll dig around. But I know I have bought that brand in 40mm before. That's what I'm using on top of my MMX8S. Pretty durable fans.Wow thats a good price. Wonder if he has the 40mm
Surpass, rocket. I think it's the same thing. I would pick this one. US stock tooWow thats a good price. Wonder if he has the 40mm
Yea I actually use them on my mmx8s too haha. They're about 2 for 31$ on amazon. I actually just ordered like 10 of them from aliexpress recently at iirc 12$ a pop for the 40mm versions. Sucks though because they definitely still break fan blades.I'll dig around. But I know I have bought that brand in 40mm before. That's what I'm using on top of my MMX8S. Pretty durable fans.

How about a fan with aluminum blades. I've also put the game changer fans through hell and they have not broken a fan blade yet. I've been using rc covers meant to go over the whole rc on the fans only and that seems to help fans last longerYea I actually use them on my mmx8s too haha. They're about 2 for 31$ on amazon. At least he's not doing insane jumps like the big YT guys, hence why he doesn't break the chassis on his Xmaxx. Neither do I when I do 26ft high jumps. I try to avoid concrete landings too. Kevin doesn't care about that one . I can relate more to him than the 50ft plus jump people. I can relate to @Moirae too.KT finally got a XRT.
He'll be doing those crazy jumps. He even said he would in later videos. What I'm really curious to know is how easily he'll bend the center driveshaft since it's much lower to the ground. At least he's not doing insane jumps like the big YT guys, hence why he doesn't break the chassis on his Xmaxx. I have been wondering how bendable the centre shaft is on the XRT as it is a lot flatter bottomed than the X Maxx, maybe the centre bottoming out at the same time as the bulkhead sections will save it somewhat. He'll be doing those crazy jumps. Aaaaaand, I see he broke the wing mount really easily like most people seem to do...!!KT finally got a XRT.
Me too brother. The center skid is definitely a weak spot too. It needs to be thicker.I have been wondering how bendable the centre shaft is on the XRT as it is a lot flatter bottomed than the X Maxx, maybe the centre bottoming out at the same time as the bulkhead sections will save it somewhat.
He didn't even land upside down like I did, and I haven't broken the wing mount yet. I've also had roll overs and such. It's pretty weird. But no concrete landings for me yet. On another note, don't land on a curb while you are doing like a 50 ft high jump like in this video. Also, I haven't bent the center driveshaft yet. I haven't heard of anyone doing it yet either :Aaaaaand, I see he broke the wing mount really easily like most people seem to do...!!
There's this for the X Maxx. Not sure if it'd work on the XRT but given the similarities I don't see why it wouldn't. I've thought about getting one for my X Maxx but I really don't bash all that hard and I'm not doing big jumps either.Me too brother. The center skid is definitely a weak spot too. Yeah I have something similar in my X-Maxx. I'll only do it on the XRT if it happens (bent center driveshaft that is)There's this for the X Maxx.
