There are several people that have done that ... and I considered it (or bj & the bear truck, duel truck) - but considering there were several already out there, I wanted something else.

Just like if I bought a Tamiya Lunchbox, totally would get the Mystery Machine treatment and would remain a shelf queen lol.

Thanks for that! By themselves they look bigger...
Put either of them next to a UDR, Xmaxx or Infraction - and they both look tiny. The new Team Associated Reflex is 1/14 scale too. Allegedly, a major reason behind the Semi's being 1/14 scale is anything larger and all the costs go up significantly, as do other things (storage, space, ease of moving, etc). As I said previously, the size of a scale 53' trailer is around 48" long - not counting the tractor. Overseas, alot of these guys are running doubles or road trains - makes for a really long truck. Add in several other trucks in a 'city' type space and things can get interesting.

The Tamiya Lunchbox is 1/12 scale - halfway between the Slash and the Semi's. Tamiya Bruiser, 1/10. No idea why the variation but I'm sure there's a method to their madness.

The Tamiya Focus WRC I've owned for approx. 20yrs now, built it up from a kit. Charged up a NiMH I had lying around the other day and after all these years it took on some charge so I gave the Focus its first run in years. Plan to give it a good strip down and check, be nice to have a bit of fun with it again and for my little boy to try when he's a bit older . My HPI e-Firestorm I've had for a year, it was my first car since the Focus and got me back into RC. It started out as a brushed version, but within 2 months I'd gone over to 2S Lipo and after keep burning out brushed motors the Mrs relented and let me buy a Hobbywing brushless combo which transformed it. Still great fun to drive and it has taken some big crashes and survived well, tough little car. And of course, my new pride and joy, my v4 Kraton.

That's a really great collection of RC's (y)(y), nice Baja Rey, your King suspension Raptor version looks good. I have the Losi DBXL-E as well, I haven't had it that long, but I'm loving it so far. I just put the Monster Claws from the MTXL on it to see how they work out, so far so good. Planning on getting the MX-43's from Pro-Line for it soon as well.
