Good day Thomas. I noticed in these photos that you have secured your t2t brace to the rear chassis brace, pulling it downwards and having the brace slant downwards slightly, to the rear of the truck. In your video, you tie wrap the brace to the shock tower at the rear, creating a level appearance. Is there a benefit to doing it one way or the other. I just made mine, and used your video's way of level mounting to the shock tower. Fyi, the rear chassis brace in my Notorious is the Hot Racing aluminum one. Love your videos, pictures and incredibly informative commentary. Thanks for sharing.New look..enjoy
Thank you. I too used the threaded rod you described in the video, and the whole thing seems very strong. Since Notorious is still stock, I will leave the rear part of the brace attached as seen in video. Please continue to do what you do, as it is a fascinating journey that you are taking us on.Thank you sit, makes me very happy. Yes, due to the body is mounted lower/infront of rear tower, the T2T brace is mounted like that, i also habe a M4 threades rod through the whole squarepipe and tightened together
I believe what you have done here is out of necessity. I created a t2t brace using the instructions in your video, and after only a couple of sessions, I noticed the rear tower is bending quite badly. I have original stock towers, as I believe you used on the instruction video. Is this new design an attempt to correct this issue?
