I ran some 188ft for fun. Trying to work on consistency now.

I got some test passes in today with the Typhon, ended up with tiny improvements in both the 0 to 40 and the 0 to 188ft.. It’s getting harder to find improvements with this car but there’s still more left in it. I tried running on Contact 25 shore foams, but it seems like they were consistently 1.5 to 2 tenths off the times I was getting from the GRP S1’s. I’ll have to run more with them. I might give the Sweep soft foams a try

Was the 188ft run 6S or 8S?

Those were 8s runs. Are we going to update the list, as of today 5/5/22 it looks like the same as its been for a while now.. I have runs I posted in this thread months ago that never made it on the board. Let me know I think still have the pics

New to drag racing Hello everyone these are my times not the best but I’m still working on getting them down

You did not give any info about what ran these times.

Nice runs, Redondo.. Impressive for Specktrum electronics. I haven't run my drag infraction in a while, now that its starting to get warm I need to bring it out again.. Last summer these were the best times I did with it on the 132 and 188ft runs. I mostly ran 188ft and only did a few 132ft passes, as that's the only distance that was counted on the leaderboards.. That car was also on the stock infraction center diff, this time it will be on a spool so it should get off the line quicker. These were done on 8s and on GRP S1 slicks, with a MMX8s and castle 1717. I have a set of Sweep soft foams I'm going to use this time around. and see what happens.. I'm hoping besides the better traction from the spool, the larger diameter foams will get it down the track quicker not just add top speed, I'll see what happens

Just a FYI I will probably update once a month
We have a 3 way tie for 1st in 0-40 and a 4 way tie for 12th in 0-40.

On my last run the car kept accelerating and this veered hard right, jumped the curb and flew up a hill.

I don’t know what’s up with the Radiolink tx

NIce, great to see the list updated. I tried a few 0-60 runs last time out on my LWB typhon on 6s, this was the best I got

Bro,throw it away,replace it...trust me ,bad things will happen..probly a damaged antenna....learned my lesson with RL rxz ..if they start acting funny,toss um before ya have a 100+mph runaway...the v1.4 ones seam way better,tougher,an less likely to go crazy as the v1.2

Gonna give the typhon a go next time out,it's light,all locked up,takes off so fast an ya don't even realize it.ran 114mph in 1100ish feet in subdivision earlier on 5s....had me shaking uncontrollably for bout 10 mins...most insane speed in a short distance I've ever seen...

1/10 with notorious body lwb,4s,was waiting for rear diff to go,made it through 5,6 hits,2 best with limited traction.didnt heat tires up,didn't want to break another rear...fun thou,maybe I could spend the $ for metal rear diff..damn thing wheelhops all the way down the road,also geared for 95mph..

Check your rear diffs. Sounds like you snapped a pin in the out drive.
