It depends on what you need.
For instance if you want to charge 2 5000mAh 6s lipo's at 1c you need (at max) 250w, so a 300w power supply will do fine.
Looks like it will be either 2x3S 6500mah or 2x3S 8500mah, have t seen a reliable source of 6s batteries of a decent size in the UK in my investigations so far...

Well you don’t need 6s lipos, but they are an option for any of the 6s line by Arrma
Yes correct, you mentioned you can't find 6s batteries of a decent size, but for instance the Kraton has more room for bigger (taller) lipo's than a Typhon, hence my question.
And a 6s Arrma needs 6s lipo's ;)

Ah! I meant decent mAh

or a pair of 3S lipos... to make a 6s ?

Anyone know much about this charger, looks pretty decent - based on the Hobbymate / older Hota? 300w on AC / 600W on DC

Well, I'm assuming your running something like 2x5000mah 3S lipo's? If so, I'd get a parallel charge board that works with your packs, then you can charge 4 at a time as this charger on AC would handle that just fine as well. I do that with my 2x20A/2x200w charger and it works well. I just make sure to label the packs and always run/charge in the same pairs.

On AC, that charger is listed to put out 2x15A/2x150W. To charge 2 3S 5000mah packs at 1C in parallel, you need 10A/111W.

What kind of plug do you use on your packs?

You are right which lipo I use. thanks for the advice ? i have ec5 connectors

Was just looking on amazon so you had a point of reference really. Not sure how many amps I'd put through a $10 board though... Plugging dual 3S packs into this thing, that's a lot of power/current passing through it.

Ok i get a point...better save buy good quality than sorry- cheap stuff. Tnx ?

Really, both are fairly "cheap", $20 a piece or so for the ones I linked vs $10.

I got this one with XT90's to try, it was $20:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0748MHB6R

Haven't used it yet though. I went really cheap on my other "parallel" charging cables, I bought a couple XT90->dual xt90 connectors and jammed two 3S extensions in my hitec board using the 3S and 4S slots... lol!

DO NOT BE ME!!!!

If I was smart, I'd at least get a couple more boards vs what I'm doing now... but they have worked fine for the past year.

Yeah, if you have the amps/watts to benefit from it. My biggest charger is 20A/200W, so I could almost charge 4 3S 5000mah packs on each channel at 1C. Would be about 25W short. Would need 30A/350W to do 6 3S/5000mah packs at 1C.

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for Quad Charger
Any recommendations please?

Also, what do you think about this chargers?
Vevom quad charger
Skyrc quattro
Hitec x4

Thanks in advance

I have the 2 channel version of this charger and really like it -
https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turbo-c...ous-balance-charger-discharger-version-2.html
300w per channel, so you can charge a big 6s pack at 10a no problem :) You will need a good power supply. I'd recommend a 24v unit from lipoconnecitonsolutions.com.
http://lipoconnectionsolutions.com/Dell-24v-62A-1500w-Power-Supply-4mm-Bullet-Output-CC24V1500W.htm -$65 for 1500w.

Also, the same charger is sold as the Charsoon Antimatter -

Several sellers have this charger, maybe you can find one in stock.
