Show your best DREMEL work?

Just got a new DREMEL 3000 as a Christmas gift, wondering what all you’ve done with them? Pretty much anything you’ve done with it counts!

I wouldn’t say my best work, but my most frequent work is using an 1/8” bit at high speed to vent RC tires. Every off-road tire I buy gets that treatment before its first run.

Don't really have pictures, but I use it to cut, drill and grind plastic and thin metal.

I made this CF wing for my Infraction using a Dremel. Full disclosure, I did do a tiny bit on a bench grinder but, in retrospect, it wasn't anything that couldn't have been done just as easily with the Dremel.

Not too long ago I hacked up an old heat sink to make a fan mount for the minor infraction.

I actually love the sparks when cutting metal, it's like a fireworks show!

If you have a stuck rounded out hex use a cutting disk to slot it for a flat head screw driver.

@kspitters Like you got the same one this spring...not good, but I made a few attempts and hope to get better and learn all the bits:

Like Flames
Tried to cut in windows in the Infraction v1 with a newer style body and cut the side panels out and added mesh

Headlights for my Talion and Kraton EXB's cut openings in the bumpers to add light buckets

My Talion EXB the M2C shock mount braces need to be modified cut down

Nah it’s the 1410, kinda wish it was the 1412 tho.

I forgot about polishing, makes quick work of it and your hands will thank you.

I’ve started with the metal brush bit and taking paint off the hotwheels, i used to use acetone. Works great to get custom paint jobs going!
