Looking good ..??

Is that a Max 8 or 6..? you know it has screw holes in the base, so you can bolt in down and you wont need the zip ties..?
Thanks!!

It's a Leopard 160A, so basically a MAX6. I've seen the holes, but it didn't look like they were threaded.
I also couldn't find what size screws to use and in the plate are no holes.

From now on the zip-ties are a temporary solution. Once I'm sure about the position and I have all the info I'll look into bolting it down ??

I'm about to purchase the Mojave EXB...also looking at the Max6 1650KV combo...what made you switch to the 1650kv? I've been debating 1650kv vs 1730kv hobbystar or even 1250KV spextrum....but leaning towards HW 1650kv

I had was planning om using the Leopard 2000kv first (already had it as a spare), to try and see how it would perform and have the option to upgrade.

I already had the HW 1650kv in sight, because of its specs/price.
I saw a few youtube clips with cars with that motor that made me want it...

So I came across a good deal for a HW 1650 and the upgrade came early ?

While looking for a heatsink/fan combo I read that the YeahRacing should fit.

Well... it fits exactly around the motor and when mounted with the 22t pinion it fits with a bit of force.
If I'm going lower in the pinion I'll have to dremel a bit off the heatsink.
( because of the pin for attachment of the center roll hoop )

Edit:
Had to remove a part of the sideguard:

First bash on a sandy surface was a success!!
Findings:
- 4S with 20t pinion feels a bit slow. ( maybe because I'd driven on 6S first ) Nice for some cruising, but lacks the 'wow-factor'. On sand at least.
- 6S with 20t pinion is great.
- Everything stayed cool on 6S. I didn't have a temp gun, but the motor felt cold and the esc was a bit warm, but still touchable. Ambient temperature was 13 degrees Celcius.
- The car flies very well, nice and stable
- Top speed with 6S on this surface was 58km/h, measured with GPS.
- Top speed with 4S HV on this surface was 52km/h, measured with GPS.
- Fenders did their job pretty well I guess:

I enjoyed it, gonna buy another set of 3S batteries, for longer runtime ?

Next time I'll do some more speed tests on 6S...

Video will be processed within a week or so....

22t pinion installed... let's see if it holds up and if it's a noticable difference from the 20t

Next run I'll test the speed on 6S some more and also going to monitor runtime.
I'm trying to make a decision if I'm going to buy another set of gensacearespammers 5500 11,V 50C lipo's or that I need more Mah's or more C's....
