Paula opened her new Typhon tonight!! So excited!! The blurred pic was her jumping up and down... Lol. She absolutely loves it! I'll be in my glory tomorrow doing all the pre run stuff! Going to be a fun weekend!!

Lol. Don't let the heels and nails fool you. She loves to fish, boat, bike and used to compete in triathlons. I knew the first time we took out my new senton she was hooked! Can't wait to run the cars with her tomorrow!

Vorteks or typhon guys? Really value opinions. She has a hot trigger finger I'm sure so keep that in mind. What's more driveable and durable? Would like to stay stock.

The typhon definitely! The Vortex is fast but a lot less stable. I have both and never drive the Vortex. To me it’s so light that it’s like driving air. Lol! Both cars are tough. The typhon is a lot more versatile. It can easily be changed into pretty much anything with just tires and a pinion change. Cheaper too.
You have been blessed! You can’t lose either way! Lucky man!

So Paula..gf.. drove an Rc car today for the first time ever! I have to say, she did remarkably well!! For the first pack, which lasted at least 30 minutes, she just took it slow, did some ovals, got used to steering, braking, reverse...basics. left tx on 50%. Showed her basic battery install, tx first on last off etc. Now the second pack was a different story..lol. Suddenly she starts to adapt to my driving style Now she's doing wheelies, while laughing out loud and roosting dirt all over the place. She had an absolute blast..SHE IS HOOKED! I took a short turn also..this thing handled and drifts like a champ...so much fun!. Nothing broke and she did her share of cart wheels, trust me. We will be back out tomorrow. I've created a monster. EVERY SINGLE PIC BELOW IS PAULA DRIVING!! She's got some skills!

I took ALL the pics while Paula was driving. Except that very last one which she took of me. It was all about her learning today.

I’m positive you know this. Lol. I have a different set up but have seen guys driving it with a broken chassis. I have a TLR and I drive the 3S more. I’m working on the wife.

Great looking rig! Going to stay 100% stock until needed. Looks like a very stout brace. One of the reasons I stick with the 3's is the simplicity of them and the parts are stupid cheap. If we can avoid ramps, I think we can stay stock. Thanks though!
Tex ...you are genius with that 3d printer. I would be interested in front bumpers for both the 3's senton and typhon if interested. Would much rather support a fellow member than a Corp. No pressure.

Took my girl Paula to an old baseball field with dirt and she practiced with all 4 packs. Really did well today with learning throttle and steering control. She loved tearing it up in the dirt! Took a few pics of her having fun.
