This is the most common one I get around my house..

My Losi 8ight 2.0 that I bought last September has had quite the make over since I bought it.

Loads of TLR aluminium upgrades, new HW ESC & motor combo, fully rebuilt/refurbished all shocks, added HD diffs all round and more including a new 3.0 truggy bodyshell with a "Tron" inspired paint job.

Also speed tested it again this time with the new HW combo and a larger 20T pinion gear which resulted in 70mph.

Now that's a masking job I really don't want..!!! ( looks sick by the way )

I used Tamiya 2mm masking tape, ...definitely a PITA but worth it I think.

Hardest parts are getting it to stick nicely in curved areas and trying to make it symmetrical. The rest was fairly straight forward.

Not perfect but definitely happy with how it came out (birds eye view).

Here’s a few more non Arrma cars.. Serpent 977 with full carbon chassis and aluminum pulleys. Great car, not running now as I need a few hard to find Serpent parts. I love the 3d printed diffuser on the back, I’m going to have a splitter made for the front also.
My HPI 1/10 RS4 sport 3 with Toyota GT1 body, and my SunRC R2 with Porsche 962 body

Regarding the Serpent 977, ...I take it that used to be a nitro version was it that got converted?
Only say that because it has 3 belts and the 977e has only 2 belts but I know the nitro version uses 3 belts.

Just an FYI your centre belt is the wrong side of the belt tensioner in case you hadn't noticed. Circled in red.

You can display Arrma cars here too .. we've tried to get the title fixed. All vehicles from all mfr's are welcome.

Thanks for the heads up, yup it was a conversion. I don't know much about this car or Serpents in general really.. I bought this as a roller about a year ago and it has just sat around while I've been feeding my speedrun car addiction. I like this car and I want to get this built up and running, I'll take a look at the groups you mentioned. Looks like a lot of good info.. I may hit you up with a question or two about it as well lol

My 1/5th scale 2 stroke BAJA . Has a OBE 34 reed case engine. 9.5HP. It started life as a Rovan 36CC baja then I crashed it into a light pole doing about 35mph. Broke the chassis so the upgrades began.

The idles set to high in the video. I was still breaking in the engine.
