I too am building an red aluminum infraction. I did see an exposed aluminum chassis on ebay a few days ago. My chassis will be red ,but not aluminum. Your is looking good!!

Not sure I understand the GPM pillow balls ?
Installed then but they feel gritty at the outmost bearing
Like it needs a shim in between the wheel nut and the outer bearings
Feels solid as heck
Very sturdy
Probably too sturdy ! Lol
It’s like when I tighten the set screw to hold the pin in on the it gets to tight and rubs ???
Horrible explanation

Anyone have a similar experience with GPM front hubs ???

Got some more aluminum stuff
However I’m having some problems with the rear GPM HUBS
My factory Felony rear “wheel axels” I could not get apart !
The set screws are siezed it’s gonna take a miracle to get them removed
So I took the rear wheel hubs of my 6s V5 Typhon
However there sofa king tight that if you are able to get the pin in the wheel hex on the wheel axel the bearings won’t turn ???
(I thought the wheel hubs for typhon and felony were same ?)
So I ordered part # AR310431 (8x36mm) wheel axel
Well it’s too freaking long
One could add some spacers between outer rear hub bearing and the wheel nut .
But that doesn’t seem rite to me !!!
Do I have the wrong rear wheel axel ?
Is there something “special “ one needs to do when using GPM rear hubs on felony
Please advise as I could have purchased 6 infractions by now lol

I’ve got new ones
And it appears the AR310431 rear axel is the correct one for felony typhon and infraction!!
I guess I check GPM website and see if it mentions using an alternative rear wheel axel when using their wheel hubs
Factory is way too tight !
Can’t even turn by hand IF I get the pin in the wheel hex and axel
Might be an out of spec GPM hub ?

AH HAAAA !!!!
The chamfer on these wheel hubs are not cut deep enough or at wrong angle !
So when I put the wheel axel in it would bind on that chamfer
I put some paint marker on it to see where it rubbed
And slightly modified wheel axels to fit
They spin freely and pins go rite in
Booooomshakalakaaaaa!!!

Probably gone thru 20 sets of HOONS
There’s nothing wrong with her !
Heck I just put 300 in GPM suspension on her ! And full set of eddies bearings, HR diffs yada yada …… but
I got 3 youngens!!!!
Someone talk me out of it or in to selling her.
Not getting out of the hobby !
Just considering generating some funds for my sons,sss Christmas!!!!

Did all that suspension stuff make a difference? I have a Felony and I am wondering if it improves drivability or is more just aesthetically pleasing. Looks great btw!
