So it came in. Slight mistake from seller but I might still keep it for another project. Ordered 1950kv and got 1700kv. Now, I know TP does their own thing when it comes to size but I admit, I'm shocked. I thought it would be roughly near in size to my HW 1650kv, but the reality is, it's only slightly longer than my BLX 2050kv. I'm having serious doubts about putting this in my Road Warrior, Senton Falcon. Even wonder if it can manage 8s. It just seems soo small compared to the HW 1650kv.
Did I screw up ordering 4050 and how much more performance, if any, would it be over HW 1650kv? Or should I just put it in the Senton 6s offroader Im going to build with all the leftovers?

I bought these things over the last week but they just finished coming in today.

Fuze 2800kv 6 pole motor, 17t Arrma pinion and 120 firma esc. They are going to go into the Granite soon! Lately I have found myself trying to make this car crawl or rock bounce somewhat, and the stock 4 pole motor cogs too much. I am also hoping it runs a little cooler.

Will it work? Beats me. But I’m gonna try it anyway. I have no clue if I got the right size pinion or if the motor is any good… It’s literally the only six pole motor I could find and afford (KV too low?) But that’s the beauty of this hobby. Live and learn 🙃

What gearing will you run with the Mojave with Max6 & 1650kv?
 
Got my new custom Pinocchio spool for my stretched Typhon from RC on a budget/Kenny Soto. Very thankful as this was a gift from Kenny so I'm now running his spool in both my speed rigs. Again I highly recommend his spools and the price is great also. Available for different platforms, multiple colors, option for ceramic bearings etc. and he can custom make one for you per needed specifications if you need something out of the common sizes. So far tested to 153mph that I'm aware of with no issues. I've ran mine so far at 122mph on 6s and 144mph on 8s and it ran super smooth with no issue.
