That's really cool! My daughter is in college & wants me to get into 3d printing & make molds for casting ceramics. So you pour liquid silicone into the molds & it solidifies? What filament?

Mold is printed regular PLA then the silicon is poured in and left to set up.

Curious how long it would take with all the same settings in Elegoo Cura on the N4M?

This is in my thread as well but its def worthy of being in this stickied one. The PLA turned out so smooth and shinny, You can see plenty of layer lines throughout but for no sanding and no paint wow it looks fantastic. I did paint the stand of course.

Buddy wanted me to make him the empty shell of the watch worn by the crew in the 1st Alien movie. He's a huge watch collector and has the guts and band to make it a working watch...

So my buddy at work has filled this and completed the watch. Its now a wearable operational watch. Pretty cool!!

Helmet = 24 hour print 1kg filament
Chest/Abs, Shoulders = 23 hour print 850g filament
Legs/Arms = 13 hour print 600g filament
Blaster = 3.5 hours 100g filament

All done at .3 layer height and 30% in-fill

Sanding, Spot Putty, Sanding, Primer, Sanding, Paint = 10 hours total for the whole suit
