I highly recommend the axial scx24. Just pay attention to the submodel (deadbolt/jeep/Chevy) because there's variances between upgrade parts.

@Doom! gave me a good piece of advice,,,,,,,, when I was looking into getting my first RC plane, he suggested getting a flight simulator.....

@Hammer Down ...... Heli's are just going to have to be delayed till another time.... I cant seem to get the hang of them yet.......at least they are on the simulator

I just cant believe it is 55 degrees F RIGHT NOW in the NC mountains..... After living 7 years in Minnesota, the icicle capitol of the US, I LOVE IT

The toughest part about flying (plane or helo) is landing. A simulator will definitely help .. but you'll still feel nervous at the field.

Had 21 a year ago. Because of my own craziness, I dwindled it down to 8 over the last 12 months. Like @Arrma Addict I just bought a Talion EXB from the tree. Now it starts all over again.

Between my son and I, we have 70 RC's. We started the hobby in the spring of 2014 and it's been very addicting. My wife has been very supportive, and usually let's me buy whatever I want. She loves that fact that my son and I spend quality time together, while bashing and wrenching. She'd rather me spend money on RC's instead of going out to bars, strip clubs, partying, drinking, etc.

My Wife said 7 was enough for now, suddenly I don't feel like I have to many, I have to few. Been looking at a Losi Lasernut and the new Maxx so I guess 8 and 9 are going to be coming soon. I need speed and I sold my Drones so this is our Hobby together my wife and me. I love them and these Iowa Winters just break my heart because it's too cold to Bash without a guaranteed breakage. Gotta stock up on more repair parts so I'm ready I the future.

The simplest rules to follow (in order) .. do everything in small movements, stay away from objects (trees, cars, houses, power lines, etc), keep it in sight. If you take your hands off the sticks, it'll stop right where it is.
