Imagine dropping $1500 on an "Ultimate" and then see this

I am so glad I am not in the Traxxas ecosphere, I love that they didn't even include their new $150 servo in a $1500 XRT or MAXX. Who is spending $150 on a Traxxas servo when you can get Reefs, Savox, NSDRC or Holmes for cheaper.

but no, technically, none of the Arrma or Traxxas 5th scales are really 5th scale. too small.

I went over to the traxxas site to see what the XRT was. 8s and only does 60 mph with the speed gear. Kind of seems a waste .

Sorry to derail the thread. I do agree the price of the traxxas servos are stupid . If I'm spending that kind of money I'm getting a Savox or something better.

Plenty will be sold and they will make millions, well maybe not millions but definitively profit.
Plenty here buy top shelve brands for bashing, not mocking them but consider the application and you can afford more of the other stuff.
really depends what you want to get out of it.
