Ordered a sensorless brushless 540size 4pole 3900kv hobbywing motor with replacment parts for a backup motor also seemed like a good idea before going sensorless and spending a lot more and trying to experience the differences between a 2 and 4 pole motor. Hope i don't tear my truck up!

I ordered, a generic, 2600kv 4 pole brushless motor, with a 5mm shaft diameter. ($24) And two, 32p pinion gears, 14t, 12t, 5mm for the motor. ($18) And, some monster energy drink decals, ($9) for my little project.

does anyone have any prefrences on certain brane of lipo batteries?

Lipo that wont burn up 540 motor. Also I bought paint to finish truck.

@joe kidd, I use Gforce lipo batteries from, Value Hobby. I've used them for 3 months now, almost everyday. I also, balance charge them, every charge. So far, so good! Value Hobby is in the U.S., shipping rates will differ from country to country.

P.s. Stick to 2s lipo for 540 sized motors, unless specs state otherwise. Also, make sure your esc can handle & run on 2s lipo, as well. Personally, I've never ran lipo on anything, but an hpi fire bolt, 15t brushed motor. I have the ruckus, saddly I went through 4 stock, brushed motors & that was on nimh batteries only. But you may have better luck!

I ordered, a 57t 32p arrma spur gear, 2014 slipper pads, 10-m3x35mm arrma screws, and 2 motor mount screws, all from Tower Hobbies! Totaling a whopping, $15 including shipping!

Well I bought a ripper 2000kv motor to test my esc, I hope to get it this week should have had it last Friday. If it doesn't work I will be getting a new esc.

I ordered, 1 pair of proline trenchers 2.8" 1/2" off set. 1 bottle of Associated 37.5wt. shock oil. Associated slipper clutch spring, and great planes 4mm bullet connectors, 3pair male/female. Grand total, $47 including shipping.

Just ordered, pro line desperado 1/2" offset rims, MIP set screws, MIP c-cvd rebuild kits. Yesterday, I picked up 2 tubes of shoe goo, and florescent green spray paint.
That should be it, for a couple weeks!

Motor I ordered from, China still is not here! The motor I ordered from, California should be here Saturday. From now on I'm ordering only from inside the USA! My other rc, has become a shelf queen!!!!

Some charger leads to go with my new Hitec X4 80 charger that I received today. Apparently my kids enjoy running my trucks as much as I do so the 4 charger ports are going to come in handy.
