My other vendetta with 28/34 doesn’t allow me to run the bearing guide for the driveshaft so I don’t know how it will hold up
View attachment 199792Will update pictures tonight. Worked on making a couple more spools for different gearing options.
Current 4s gearing will be setup geared 32/32 which is the smallest I can run as the motor interferes with the bearing guide for the driveshaft. Geared to 187mph and hoping to net a 150 pass with that setup.
Built 34, 36t and 38t spools:
so for 6s I can run 25-28t with 36t spool
And on 8s I can run 20-24 with 38t spool

I really don’t know how this 2950 motor will do on higher voltage as far as heat and power output. Even tho it is rated for 8s I think the sweet spot with balancing battery weight and power will be my 6s runs on this car.
I wonder how much more room a 36mm can would give ya???enough for north of 1 to 1 making running a lower kv motor possible 🤔

When I was choosing my motors I based them off of the watts I was seeing on my logs of my limitless. Knowing the weight of my limitless and the watts(hp)to move that tank I kind of figured out the max watts I wanted from a motor for the vendetta chassis.

Was able to finish my carbon body today
And the wings. Next time I’ll do just the honeycomb carbon. It lays down much nicer

Looks good
As I am sure you know already, be careful with those wheel arches....
Yea they can cut into the wheels. With the braided fuel line I put on the shocks now I can put most of my body weight on the front of the body and it doesn’t contact the tire now. I did some final trimming for those photos so it clears just enough.

Did some parking lot testing up to 70-75 yesterday but was too busy with house work to get out and run. It feels very powerful on 4s.

Made one pass today on a road I stopped speed running on. Should not have taken the chance but it’s about 30 minute drive compared to 50 minute and tolls to my other spot.
Road was very dirty and sandy and I went off into the swampy area next to the road. Carbon body needs a little gluing, the splitter got ripped off and broke an axle.😢
115mph on 4s but couldn’t drive back.
Will hopefully run again soon

Our impatience gets the best of us sometimes.

I think I’ll need to quit speedrunning soon because I just don’t have a good road to do over 120mph on unless I drive to the desert.

4s logs from Friday. Decent power output for the volts. 7-9 hp
Somewhat decent trigger pull(will get smoother as I run more)

This body is beyond awesome! Love the honeycomb weave!
Love your post for Vendetta. I'm currently trying to do something similar to my Senton 8s but will use the 3s platform and hop it up to 6s. Tp 4050 1700kv and BLX 185

Looks grest. be careful that 4050 will likely hit amp cut on that esc. A Mmx8s will do great in there down the road

I know. This is just see what happens. I plan to add weight to keep it planted. Might move my Max 6 in here if I figure my next step with the 8s Senton. This set up will likely have 5 Rocket fans too. That's also why I'm choosing to try and gain torque over rpms with the 1700kv.

This scm is a amp hungry monster.
18 hp on this run.
However I suspect my right front wheel was rubbing and caused that axle to break looking at that tire. Looks like my shock on that corner isn’t as stiff as the left side

Almost max amps the Xlx2 can handle with this scm motor on 6s. I haven’t done that many amps on my limitless.
Planning to move to 8s as that is what the motor is rated for. I believe it’ll show less amps that way.
