You need to be careful with these mini missles. You're lucky you only got scarred. I know sometimes it's impossible to react, but you need to be aware and try to avoid it coming at you at all costs. This said by the guy who intentionally gets in front of them to get good video clipsMan, what an eventful wkend. Finally got parts from Jenny's & got the typhon up and running. Got a couple packs thru it just before dark. The weather finally let up this afternoon for a bit & took her out on some cheapo tires that I had glued myself. The 1st one blew off in about 5 minutes, went in & grabbed the other pair that I had glued w/ the 1st pair. Blew the foam like 25' in the air on the 1st throttle pull! It was quite spectacular in all honesty. Not really sure if it was caused by my crappy glue job? Went back in & put on the jetko set. They performed beautifully although I took a collision to the shin which actually broke the skin & the shock rod end! Insult to injury

Where'd you get those shock boot/cover thingies? So far from what I see.
Bent "7075" shock tower.
1 broken shock standoff.
1 broken shock rod end.
1 broken rod end on the camber link.
1 broken bulkhead.
Sway bar pulled out of end link.
A arm looks fine.

eBay @MacsCDP sells them. They are Deadpool. My only complaint is getting them to stay straight when you are putting the springs on the shocks is a bit tedious but not too bad.Where'd you get those shock boot/cover thingies?

As I know you know the exb standoffs are utter garbage. I've also broken these and the m2c ones. User error. Drill & tap the std ones out to m4 and use a m4 12.9 cap head. Cheap, super stout and easy to just replace the pin.So far from what I see.

Bent "7075" shock tower.
Whence broke mine I was looking at the scorched ones and thought I'll just do that with the std ones. Std ones are plenty strong enough with a 4mm set up and.........I've got hundreds of them.Great advice I can't believe I have never thought of doing this..!!!
Scorched are a similar two piece design but in titanium, I've lost count of the amount of bent M2C ones I own
