Pedants.
I literally slid the wheels on randomly.
For a picture.
Stuff not mounted: motor, wheel nuts, esc, shocks, battery tray, receiver, driveshafts, and parts laying all over the table....
but y'all gotta point out tire treads...
🥔 🤣

Finally took the time to crack open the 6s shocks on my Typhon, so as to check on and replace the oily goodness within.

Things I learned in the process:
  • Arrma screws those shock caps on TIGHT. Like, whoa. We're talking blisters for days.
  • Shock pliers are, ironically, NOT the appropriate tool to clamp down on the shock body when opening these for the first time.
(Are you writing that down, Alanis Morissette?)
  • What did end up working was taking out the bushings, clamping down on the hexagonal collar of the shock body with an adjustable wrench, and inserting a sturdy screwdriver through the hole in the cap to twist it off with.
  • Even if the level and quality of the oil inside the shocks seems fine, and you're putting in what should be the exact same weight silicon oil, refilling these still seems to make a noticeable difference somehow.
  • A little more than half of a 50ml bottle like this is enough to refill all four 6S Typhon shocks.
  • Cats like shock oil, apparently. 😻 Probably explains their jumping (and landing) prowess...

I did the lights and body wiring for my kraton....finally!!! Underglow, headlights, brake lights, reverse and signal lights. I bought the dumbo rc receiver with built in light control. I used the kit for the c10 body from powershift, the light buckets are well built. The headlights need 12v so I had to wire a booster for them, now I can still use the receivers controls but have the bright ass 12v led's. Made my own glitchbusters for the receiver and wired up my fpv cam. I think this is version 23-9962378593345. Waiting on some goodies from aliexpress to upgrade my goggles and make them look a lil less hillbilly and more professional looking. When my new shafts come in from @jondilly1974 and some goodies from my dirty boy @Lovestricken i'll be able to test the beast and do some night videos. Hopefully my phone will be in by then too. I haven't had a working phone for quite some time now, so unfortunatly no pics of the lights for you guys just yet.

Got the Limitless pretty much all done💪😁 switched motor mount back to stock placement, added 2nd battery tray back, soldered cap pack back on , installed new 1717. With ESC in the front now can't fit the 40x28mm fan so need to order a 40x10mm fan for the MMX8S. Otherwise she's ready for some test passes 🤘😁

Finally got the rear tower replaced and new rear diff and input pinion on the Granite. Also installed @Lovestricken's blx185 mount for 3s rigs as my Granite is a 4s setup now with blx185. Will be soldering new 6.5mm bullets on the Kraton ESC for the new Hobbystar 4585 1580kv going in it💪
