Almost as bad as a BMW...
🤣

Regarding the stones..
Need to use the wife's yoga mat next time ..
It helps ,trust me.
Man I got this for the wife because she wanted it 7 years ago and I’ve put over 8 grand in this damn thing but also I’m definitely investing into some kind of mat that’s for sure lol

Definitely.
Lay an old cardboard box down first to put the yoga mat on.. it'll make it last a lot longer.. 👍

How are those tires?
honestly I haven't even been able to test drive it yet. Freaking snowed the day I finished building it and it's just now melted enough for me to mess around on the street. I got street tires on it right now but when the snow melts i'm going to go down the road to the field and try those tires. Seem like the buggy and the SCT comes with the same tires. They come unglued too, probably the easiest tire i've ever glued though that's not saying much cause I haven't glued many :ROFLMAO:

They're not bead lock?

hell no, I wish!! though aren't the dbxl tires beadloc? and those things still suck haha.
I see it now. The MCD product page is a little weird. The first picture shows glued tires and the second picture shows bead lock tires. Screenshots below.

Stock DBXL tires and wheels are the worst. Maybe they can handle stock power but who leaves their car stock??

I never even noticed that! wow I don't even see any of those for sale

Jesus Murphy! $1500 US for a ROLLER?!?!
Gotta say, I love alot of things about. What's going on with that rig. The construction is neat, simple, and practical. Those 3 ball shafts should blow pinned dogbones. Alot of overkill going n there, and that's great as it should increase functionality. Like those bearing controlled swaybars. Yet what has me scratching my head 5is why? Why would a company responsible for !making that work of art a reality chose to make their axles and drive shafts out of a materiial known for its brittleness?
I'm intrigued with this RC.

Really is a work of art and very simple to work on. I have all 4 of them now and I actually made the buggy wider and put on some mx43's and sent it. It survived 2 bmx bashes pretty damn good and no driveshaft problems. Sadly I bought the FTR spec which was 2000$ for the roller and had even more metal. Mistakes! now I'm replacing some parts with plastic. Mainly things like hub carrier/steering knuckle or whatever it's called.

Love those jumps! The drone footage is awesome with the "birds eye" view.

Today I worked on my Kraton 8s I picked this up used a few days ago. Realized I paid way too much once I tore it down and discovered all the "little things" that needed replacing. I like the wrenching part as much as driving so meh, it will all come out in the wash. I have arms, drive shafts, gear box and a few other things on their way. Looking forward to getting it on the road.

Added some more Bracing (to the rear of the tables) AND make it a cable management channel / tools&parts cubby area too..

It's now a bit more extended outward away from the back wall..
From 29.5" to now 34"

Which is what I need to allow for some Bigger bed-slinger printer(s) that need more depth to avoid hitting the back wall.

Also decided to spread the two tables apart and take the whole length of that side of the wall.
MORE elbow room!

11ft span ,with a 13" gap in between...

Computer platform..
I had to slice a bit of the edge off to have it fit between the table legs (because of the way I mounted those a bit closer to each other depth wise.)

Had to add a brace to this also after the cut.
